Do we have any idea how soon this will be out on DVD? Or will it be online?
P.S. Carol, I keep meaning to tell you about a book I think you would like. It's called My Name is Memory, by Ann Brashares. It's not Outlander, but it has sort of an Outlander feel. Let me know what you think.
Gaaah!! Can I just tell you that I ordered Starz a couple of days ago (and added to my already mammoth cable bill) JUST TO SEE PILLARS?! And then after all that, I had to DVR it last night. I'll be watching this afternoon!
So what'd we think, lasses? I will admit that I turned it off after an hour. It was just on too late for me to get into two hours of it, and I found it tough to watch--reading all those storylines is entertaining, but watching them...not so much.
I second that book - My Name Is Memory...wasn't it a great book? I've never read anything like it before and I sure hope there is a sequel or I'll be really mad about the ending!!
Brandy-It's the first in a trilogy. I was disappointed by the end until I learned that! And if you haven't read The Last Summer (of You and Me), you should. Ann Brashares is great!
Jo - This is you - ROCKING! I am always looking for the next book that is going to knock my socks off. I just bought "Green Darkness" by Anya Seton. It's got two different time periods... and American married to an Englishman... time travel (by way of reincarnation, from what I can tell). I havena gotten far..because I'm still listening to Outlander. When I'm finished, I'll pick it up and read it through. I'l need a break from Claire and Jamie (HAHAHA like THAT will stick).
I just watched Pillars last night; I think I'll blog about it.
Anxiously waiting for 10p. LOVED this book (silent scream)!!!!!!!! It was my favorite....until Outlander changed my ENTIRE EXISTENCE!!!
ReplyDeleteMali - I read Pillars - then Twilight - then Outlander. I am so psyched for Pillars; I hope the adaptation is good!
ReplyDeleteSo in the book...was Mrs. Builder like 100 years older than Tom?
ReplyDeleteWatching now. Wish I remembered the book more....
