Subject: Your Amazon.com order has shipped
Greetings from Amazon.com.
We thought you'd like to know that we shipped your items, and that this
completes your order. Your order is being shipped and cannot be changed
by you or by our customer service department.
The following items have been shipped to you by Amazon.com:
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Qty Item Price Shipped Subtotal
1 The Exile: An Outlander Gr... $13.50 1 $13.50
Shipped via USPS
Did you get special shipping? I got standard, and Amazon says to expect it between the 24th and the 28th. I may have to stay off the internet until I have mine in my hannds--I'll be jealous.
ReplyDeleteTerry, I ordered back in July...that may be why. But I also have Amazon Prime, which I HIGHLY recommend if you order on Amazon often. It costs $75/year - and you get FREE 2 day shipping (on most orders). If you order overnight, it costs $3.99/item. I order so much online that it's really worth it for me. :)
ReplyDeleteBTW, the price on Amazon has dropped to $12.99, so we'll both be getting that extra $0.51 credited back, eventually. Or so I hope. :-)
ReplyDeleteMy package shipped on Friday and has been sitting in a UPS facility in Knoxville, TN, for the entire weekend. Grrrr! So frustrating! Still scheduled for Tuesday delivery, though. Ah, well, the book is on its way, and that's the important thing.
Karen
Mine is on it's way from BandN. I ordered two. One for the oldest daughter, too. I get lots of BandN gift certificates and a teacher discount so I ordered from them. Free shipping with orders over 25 bucks. carol
ReplyDeleteListen to all of us. We're all so excited. It's so much fun. :) PS - Karen - wow you think we'll get a credit? That would be great. I figured they lowered the price and "oh well".
ReplyDeleteI'm going to pick it up at the store on Tuesday morning...I sure hope they have them. Last time I pre-ordered, I got the book several days after I could have picked it up, so I wanted to avoid that.
ReplyDeleteMine shipped on Friday, so with 2-day shipping, I thought maybe - just maybe - I'd get it tomorrow. No such luck though; it's in Kansas. And I'm not.
ReplyDeleteI already have reading plans for Tuesday after work!!
Erin I would flip. FLIP. BUT - I just realized... they send them via the post office??? It said USPS. YEY! I thought it would be UPS and my UPS orders never come until 7:00 at night. OH my GOD! HOW am I going to wait for Tracey?!? She'll kill me if I don't... but....but....but...
ReplyDeleteSo far no word from Barnes and Noble.com--that's what I get for preordering from them just because I'm a member and get free shipping. I would totally go buy a copy on Tuesday, but work is going to be WAY busy Monday-Wednesday and I doubt I'll be able to get out of the office. FEH. I THINK my shipping re: B&N is overnight, so we'll see what news I get tomorrow....
ReplyDeleteIf I stared at that slime green book for days before looking at the end of it... I can stare at this book for a few hours. ;)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful indeed! Ordered mine from The Poisoned Pen so hope to hear from them soon. Can.not.wait. Created a special avi for the book and everything to use over on goodreads.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy lasses!!!
:( I don't have an email yet.
ReplyDeleteCarol, I had my daughter order it with her student ID to get free shipping. Amazon says it's ready to ship and I canna change the order. Hoping that means it will ship soon!
ReplyDeleteTracey - I've not heard from B & N either.... grrr-grrr
ReplyDeleteWhat if I have to wait?! I don't think I can! I may wind up with 2 of the damn things after all!
Carol and Tracey, are you going to make a YouTube video of beginning the Exile? I would love to see it!
ReplyDeleteMy copy is in transit! Yay! But will it really take 3 days to travel from Lexington, KY to Cleveland, OH???
ReplyDeleteI hate waiting for stuff to come in the mail so I don't mind paying the few extra $$ and getting it from Borders. I already checked with mine and they are getting 12 copies in and I plan to be there when they open at 10am. My plan is to drop my oldest at school, my youngest at preschool, run to the grocery store, go straight to Borders and come home and start reading...although I guess I should put the groceries away! I'll have about an hour of uninterrupted reading time before I have to get my son from preschool. He'll probably be watching more tv than usual tomorrow while I finish reading and pouring over the illustrations!
ReplyDeleteBrandy I HEAR you. I want to just go and GET IT in the morning but instead I'll be checking my mailbox like a fiend! PS - Your life SO sounds like mine. And what's my excuse? I'm STILL looking at groceries from this morning and I picked my kids up over an hour ago! ;)
ReplyDeleteAAAAAAAHHHHHH IMOSOEXCITEDICANNACONTAINMYSELF!!!!! OMGJMJ!@*&%
ReplyDeleteOrdered mine from the poisoned pen so I could get a signed copy. I may stroke her autograph a few times.
