I've been following your blog for a looooong time now, I am Italian, live in China and am a huuuuge Jamie&Claire fan (am listening to ABOSA these days, audiobooks were the best way to carry my heroes from Italy to China with me after having read the whole series). I just stumbled upon this link and thought you might enjoy it:
Benvenuto Cristina! Tracey and I are 1/2 Italian American. We should tell you some of my grandmother's sayings (she was born in Naples) and see if we're saying them right. :)
I love those guys! Thanks for the link! A friend of mine from Scotland likes them... so I assume they are pretty popular over there.
Half Italian-American?? And me reading you for so long without having a clue??? My bf is from Naples, and I still have problems sometimes understanding what his family members are saying. Last summer, while we were in Naples, I told him that I cannot survive a whole evening with more than 6-7 Napoletani, it's more tiring than speaking English the whole day!
I'm glad you liked the link :-)
I thought of you last night when I was listening to the scene where Jamie doesn't kick the two Indian women out of the tent!!! I could almost hear your outraged comments :-)
