Ladies and Gentlemen...I Have Found My Stephen Bonnet

So I'm watching The Vampire Diaries tonight...and all the sudden it hits me:   Trask - Radio.  Klaus - Bonnet.

How is it that I've never noticed this before?  Or have I? Have we ever discussed this and I am forgetting?  Have the Staceys brought this up and I've filed it away somewhere?  I just can't believe this just popped into my head tonight.  Joseph Morgan.  Welsh.  Hot.  Blonde.  Need I say more?  (And c'mon...ye know damn well he can do an Irish accent.  Hell,  _I_ can do an Irish accent!  OK so maybe I'm Irish-American...but still.  Unless it's Northern Irish, it's a lot easier than Scottish, right?!)

And don't let the sweetness factor deter you from truly grasping my vision.  He plays a totally sinister guy - aka vampire - on The Vampire Diaries.  Boyfriend's up to the task.

    I always pictured Stephen Bonnet as a dirty old-ish man. Maybe I missed a description somewhere (which is likely because I read these fast and not closely...).

    Wasn't Bonnet fairly young, maybe in his 30's? And I think somewhere it described him as blonde, green eyed and heavy features. I picture him as fairly good looking but kinda brutish. Wouldn't he have to be "rough" looking to intimidate his shipmen the way he did?

    He's too feminine and scrawny looking for me. At least on Vampire Diaries. I'm not into the whole "emo" look how guys are so stinking skinny now (I think it's the lack of body hair on some of these guys that throws me off. Hair = man to me, not that they have to be a hairy ape but no body hair is just girly to me). I've always pictured Bonnett as more of dirty sort of manly man. lol...I always thought Sean Bean has that kind of look.

    How tall is he? IMO, he has to have the height--only a wee bit shorter than JAMMF/RogerMac.

    Bonnet is supposed to be hot and slimy. This guy does hot and slimy well, yet can maintain an endearing side that makes you hate to love him - and vice versa. He's also 30 and seems to go up and down in weight and muscle, depending on the role. LOVE.

    Carol - what a brilliant observation! I love Klaus in the VD's, the perfection combination of hotness and badboy. He could totally pull off Bonnet, who by the way is one of my favourite characters in the Outlander series.
    I hope they keep this bad boy on VD for awhile yet, YUM!

    I love Stefan/Paul this season! Even though I give him a hard time about his low cut t-shirts, he's my fav Salvatore.

    He also played in the TV series Hex - 1st season anyhow and he was quite fetching then - of course we didn't get to see the but - oh wait yes we did :) watch it...not sure he could be as big a butthead as Bonnet but that is why they are called ACTORS isn't it:)
