Truly amazing rendition of Outlander (and a bit of Dragonfly.) Thanks to Jayne for sharing. (And the fact that Mr Tasty Tuna, Jack Davenport is in it absolutely made my day.)
Thanks to Lisa and JennaFaye for letting me know clips from the following films were used in its production:
Braveheart, Rob Roy, Attila The Hun, The Constant Gardener, Mary Bryant, Beowulf & Grendel, Swept from the Sea, Pearl Harbor, Legends Of The Fall, The Fountain, Enemy at the Gates, Season of the Witch
Fantastic - do you happen to know which movies the clips came from - Rob Roy for sure, but what others? Makes me want to watch them. :)
ReplyDeleteI have made a few Outlander trailers myself and it was hard and long work just to make a video of about 1-3 Minutes. This one is fabulous, I can't imagine how long the maker of this video has been working on it. It feel like watching a real movie. Wonderful. It also shows how unimportant the looks of the actors are as long as their presence and charisma reflects the characters - Rachel Weisz, Ralph Fiennes and Jack Daevenport aren't the spitting images of the characters in my mind (young Gerry Butler is, though ;)) - nonetheless I enjoyed the video so much that I added it to my favourite videos, so I can watch it any time. Kudos to the maker!
ReplyDeletePS: The movies used are Braveheart, Rob Roy, Attila The Hun, The Constant Gardener, Mary Bryant, Beowulf & Grendel, Swept from the Sea, Pearl Harbor, Legends Of The Fall, The Fountain, Enemy at the Gates, Season of the Witch
She listed it on the youtube comments!

ReplyDeleteoops, that's *hit Bella not *his Bella
ReplyDeleteThanks for posting the films, Lisa and JennaFaye - I will blog them as well.
ReplyDeleteMenatra, you almost made me fall off my chair. I LOVE that. SO funny. I made my hubby watch Breaking Dawn last night and he was miserable. I told him he should just be happy I didn't drag him to the theatre to watch. ;)
OK, I'm 1:13 in, and my main question is, ummm....exactly WHY did Claire choose Jamie over Frank? ;-)
ReplyDeleteDamn, Ralph-Pronounced-Rafe. Just DAYAM.
Oh. Em. Gee. I know. RF is a delectable treat for the soul at times. (Tom insists on calling him "Ralph". It's pretty funny.)
ReplyDeleteVery tasty! (can anyone else see Liam as Dougal??)
