I am sooooooo glad I discovered those books. Better, I am soo glad I follow the amazing outlander community. I am having so much fun reading everyone comments ( especially when Sam Heughan gets everyone melting!). I feel like I am 16 again.
I'm sure Sam Heughan is going to sell ALOT of books. What an incredible added dimension having this witty, real life Scot in mind while reading. And he is so charming with us fans. I adore him.

Sam Heughan is finally coming back from Norway, so I guess it's a matter of days now. I give for granted that all the potential Claire's will be screen tested with him to see the chemistry. It would be daring and and a potential fail to just put two actors together, now matter how great Sam is.
WHAT I wouldn't give to be a fly on THAT wall. I love the stories of the Kristen Stewart/Robert Pattinson test reads for Twilight. According to Catherine Hardwicke, he attacked her on her bed. LOL
Hello Carol - I've never commented on a blog before but I had to chime in once I read yours. As an avid reader I don't know how I didn't discover Outlander before a few months ago. Now that I have, my breeks have been in a twist constantly. I'm trying to space out my Outlander reading with other books but all the TV series & blog hoopla has me verra distracted. I need a JAMMF fix several times a day. So... I stumbled across your site and was thrilled to find someone who loves snark, witty banter & a brawny hero as much as me. But wait... you love Hunger Games... and Downton Abby... and 50 Shades.... AND Discovery of Witches (Shadows not so much)?! And to top it all off, you grew up 10 minutes from me. Where have you been all my life?! Perhaps we crossed paths at the K of P Mall in the 80s at the Deb Shop or Spaceport maybe? I was the one with the perm and high bangs.

What! Audition videos?!?! Where have I been? I came over here this morning while drinking my coffee hoping for a JAMMF fix. After all the excitement of Sam being cast as Jamie, I'm now feeling let down. Kind of like at the end of the last book in the series. I'm thinking to myself "WTF do I do now?" Also, checked out some of the other blogs. I think we are related, sister from another Mother or something. Are you secretly pulling my likes and dislikes out of my head while I'm sleeping? Wow! Currently I'm waiting for all kinds of faves, season 4 of Downton Abbey, Season 4 of TVD, MOBY, and now the Starz series. I think I need to be medicated, or something.
Ooooo Jennifer Bradley! Weirdly her middle name is Clare! (Although no 'i'). Can't wait for Downton either! So much good TV. Can't wait to see Outlander when it comes out.
Do you think there's an 'Outlanders Anonymous' - you know, like 'Hi my name is Leanne and I have an addiction - to Outlander' ?? I seriously think I have a problem ... The hours I've wasted on the internet in the last few months, not to mention reading and re-reading the books! Help!
Holy COW! This is one of the first of these videos I've seen. WHAT FUN!! Casting is SICK fun to watch. Claire isn't there because this isn't a chemistry read. They're just reading for Murtaugh. They use the casting directors to read the sides (chunks of dialogue). Something tells me we won't get to see those...but who knows. THANKS for the link!! :)
