I know I'm jumping the gun by offering this comment here, but I thought the account of what Jamie went through in the book "looked" even worse than the stuff we watched on TV. I'm just angry that we had to waste so much time watching that, and not enough time seeing what a badass, fantastic hero CLAIRE proves herself to be. And all the healing, spirituality, and redemptive beauty we find in the final chapters of the book - it was a crying shame to lose so much of that. I had to go back and re-read that last section just to regain my own sense of peace.
We are all eagerly awaiting your thoughts and emotions. This rendition has to be tough not only because of the subject matter of Saturday's content but it's the end of season 1. I, for one, am regretting not having this show to anticipate. I pulled out my books and I'm reading again but thoughts of not being able to soak in Claire's or Jamie's sunshine is tough to swallow. The last of the series was incredible on so many levels but I'm wildly curious when we get a date for the next season. Even if it's a year away - as they have only begun shooting within the last three weeks - give us a DATE to look forward to. In the meantime, give us your thoughts dear Tracey & Carol! We are almost as addicted to your commentary as we are to the show! Kuddos to you BOTH!!!
I found MOP by accident and have been addicted to your posts since. We are all waiting with baited breath to see your response to the season 1 finale'.
Carol and Tracey, I don’t know if you have plans for a video recap of the finale, but if it doesn’t feel like something you can do, then don’t you dare feel bad about it. In my opinion, you have both worked hard and entertained us all a-plenty. You don’t owe us anything you don’t feel comfortable sharing. Thanks!
In Purgatory waiting for Tracey and Carol's review! :) Hope all is well ladies.
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking that Tracey and Carol probably need a little time to catch their breath after this episode...I know I do ;/
DeleteSeriously though, I think they mentioned they wouldn't have the review up right away.
Thank you! I was getting worried about them.
DeleteWaiting...
ReplyDeleteAgree. I am looking forward to your video.
ReplyDeleteDido!! Cant wait to watch feedback from my favorite fellow outlander fans!!
