Hey y'all, just a quick post to let you know MOP Chat WILL be happening during the season...same time/same place:
Monday nights at 9PM Eastern in our usual MOP Chat room.
As I mentioned in our last video, it is tough for Tracey and me to attend MOP Chat every week during the Starz season. During the week, we do a lot of Outlander-related things necessary to keep up with our weekly recap videos. This makes for little to no time with our families and commitments...so we have to do a lot of juggling in order to keep everything on track in our little MOPlander universe!
My point? Please keep coming to chat as usual! If we are not there, we encourage you to talk amongst yourselves, and know that we are with you in spirit...and will be back full time after the Starz season ends!
I'm listening to you girls as I type this ... I HAD to add to Carol's comments that Claire is a 1940s woman ... yes! Claire was born in 1918...she was not going to say "lets talk about it" to Jamie. OK back to watching you.
ReplyDeleteRight on!!! In reality, she would have gone back to bed and sneered at him in the AM. LOLOLOLOL!!!
DeleteI agree with you Tracy that it seems wrong to me too that Jamie gets all hot for Claire because he can kill Randall. No.
ReplyDeleteI thought this episode was better than the first three but those characters on the show are not the Jamie and Claire from the books. There is no warmth. No humor. No respect coming across in the show. They just seem like two angry people. Even the sex scene didn't come across right. Jamie from the books IMHO has disappeared.
ReplyDeleteCross your finger, Anon. Maybe it will surprise you going forward. You never know. :::hugs:::
Delete"Mahk me!"
ReplyDeleteMAHHHHHHHHK MEEEEEE!!!! ROFLMAO!!! :)
DeleteHave to say I'm so jealous of the fact you two sisters can share these books/episodes together. This will never be a family or friend dynamic for me so your videos and blogs are so appreciated. And it took me the whole first season to get past my silly b*tthurt over the book vs. tv differences. Now I can see them as two completely separate entities and enjoy both. (Though, the books are premiere!) Since the tv show started there has been outrageous cray-cray but it seems to be settling down and it is still so nice to have people like you for a safe haven to discuss the series and the books together. Thank you for taking the time out of your busy lives to make this happen!
ReplyDeleteAwwwww THANKS Molly!!! That is so sweet!!! We are so happy that people like YOU are watching! That's why we do it!! :)
