I thought I was doing JUST fine during this Droughtlander. I'm a busy gal...busy family..etc. Then I tuned into The White Princess early to see this trailer, and faster than you can say Craigh na Dun, I was sucked right back into the darkness of drought!!
With several more months of Droughtlander to go I think we might need a new video commentary from Tracy and Carol to keep us going! Thoughts on this trailer (and any other news or shows you've been watching recently)?
And....let's talk about the filming in Stirling starting sometime this summer. I'm going to the Highlands in October and will be keeping my eyes open for outdoor filming going on!
was just watching you on Droughtlander Diversions, and you were having a discussion about British/Scottish accents on Turn. You ladies must watch "Shetland" on Netflix. It's modern day Scotland, a crime drama, with the most wonderful characters. You'll even discover an actor from Outlander (I won't spoil it for you, but I know you'll recognize him). The scenery is fabulous, too. Hope you like it!! Now back to your video!
You guys are so awesome! I started watching Turn because of you and I live in Setauket! All the streets are named after the spy ring. Caleb Brewster street etc.. and there's a part of town that is called Strongs Neck. Also the church is still there and a bullet from the war is in the wood. I work in the school across the street and learning about the spy ring is a huge part of the curriculum. You should come visit. Why isn't season 3 on Netflix? Keep up the good work and you guys should watch The Tudors it was really good.
OMGOMGOMG you are my HERO!!! I'm dying to go to Setauket!!! I'd drive all the way up there from the Jersey shore, just to see the bullet!! You have to check out the "AMC's TURN + Rev War History!" page if you are on Facebook. You'd be treated like a celebrity!! PS - LOVE LOVE LOVED The Tudors. I am now in love with The White Princess and loved The White Queen. I am a total PeriodTVfile! ;)
I will definitely check it out. The story of the gravestones is very true every year fourth grade takes a trip to the cemetery, so sad the stones were never replaced. Oh yeah tell Tom to cut Claire some slack lol. I love love her she's a bad ass character!
