Hello Tracy and Carol. Just watched your recap on YouTube and loved it maybe even more than the episode. I was not (nor have I ever) "felt" anything between Rachel and Young Ian, unfortunately. They have the chemistry of two good friends; not lovers, in my opinion. I loved when Carol said how annoying Rachel was when she was "pleading" (?) for her life and said "OMG just kill her!". I laughed out loud and scared my cats! And when Tracy said "I know violence is not your thing" and Carol answered "Is LIFE your thing?!!!?. Another hilarious moment. Thank you both for always bringing the laughter. Looking so forward to next week for more fun with MOP.
The Rachel/Ian scene with the wolf comparison is from the last chapter of Echo. It might have been more moving and powerful if they had recreated the scene on the riverbank under the shade of a drooping sycamore tree as the redcoats were packing up to leave Philadelphia.
I felt definitely unconvinced that Jamie died. Therefore, these last scenes didn’t hit me in the feels. How could he be dead if there is another season and another book? It feels like manipulation of the audience to me but come on! Haven’t we had enough catastrophe with Jamie and Claire??
Oh to see Dougal again!!!!! ❤️
ReplyDeleteOMG RIGHT?? I almost fell off my chair!! ❤️
